Jennifer M. Elias Litigation Attorney

Jennifer Elias is a Litigation Attorney at Kelly Law Team with 17 years of legal experience representing plaintiffs in complex personal injury litigation throughout Arizona. A proven courtroom advocate, Jennifer has served as sole chair in 14 jury trials, along with numerous bench trials, hundreds of arbitrations, depositions, and mediations — including matters requiring live expert testimony.

Prior to joining KLT, Jennifer served as Attorney Manager and Coach at a Phoenix-based personal injury and wrongful death firm, where she conducted comprehensive file reviews and led litigation strategy on complex matters involving wrongful death, motorcycle collisions, negligent security, premises liability, dog bites, dram shop claims, construction accidents, and government-entity claims — while mentoring less-tenured attorneys and paralegals on case strategy and trial skills.

Before that, Jennifer practiced at a national plaintiff’s litigation firm, where she managed complex personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and bad-faith matters; drafted dispositive motions, including Daubert motions and motions for summary judgment; and coordinated with forensic accountants, toxicologists, life care planners, engineers, and standard-of-care experts on catastrophic injury cases.

Earlier in her career, Jennifer spent over a decade representing a national insurance carrier in personal injury and litigation matters — experience that gives her firsthand insight into how insurance companies evaluate and defend claims. During that time she completed 12 jury trials as sole chair, along with numerous bench trials, arbitrations, and mediations, and independently managed cases ranging from soft-tissue injuries to catastrophic injuries, including amputations and traumatic brain injuries. She began her legal career at a legal aid organization in Mohave and La Paz Counties, representing clients in family law and protective-order matters and conducting community outreach with domestic violence shelters.

Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota and her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona. She is licensed to practice law in Arizona and before the U.S. District Court for Arizona, and serves on the Boards of Directors of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and the Maricopa County Bar Association, as well as the Arizona Women Lawyers Association.
